[gPXE] gPXE debugging

I am just starting to use gPXE and I would like to know how you get some 
debugging output?  I cloned the git tree and ran make and then burned 
the gpxe.iso to a cd and tried booting it from my laptop but I do not 
see any output at all.  It justs sits there for a while and then finally 
my regular linux boot menu shows up.  How can I get gPXE to show me what 
is happening?
