Windows Server 2008 boot from SAN

Windows Server 2008 supports booting from iSCSI, AoE, and SRP SANs. You can either

Install Windows Server 2008 directly to an iSCSI target¹⁾, or

Install Windows Server 2008 to a physical disk, then transfer the image to an iSCSI, AoE, or SRP target.
