I do this with a freedos boot cd with files on a fat partition.<br>

You can flash intel NICS with IBAUtil available . some e100's , with<br>
the e1000 being the most popular with 128k ROM.<br>
I do this in Dos , possible from some windows versions as well.<br>

You can flash a variety of 3com cards with a utility that I couldn't<br>
find. Anyone care to share.<br>
