<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">I tried to install win2008 using winpe 2.1 or 3.0 without luck.<br><br>I followed the below procedure:<br>http://etherboot.org/wiki/sanboot/win2k8_iscsi_install<br><span style="font-family: monospace;"><br></span>dhcp net0<br><pre class="code">set keep-san 1<br>sanboot iscsi:192.168.1.11::::iqn.2007-08.name.dns.target.my:iscsiboot<br>chain tftp://192.168.1.11/boot/pxeboot.n12<br><br>after sanboot, it said something like "bios has registered .... preserving connection, boot failed...."<br></pre>after winpe was loaded, I ran the following commands:<br>net use f: \\192.168.1.111\win2008<br>f:\setup.exe<br><br>the win2008R2 (32bit) installation could not recognise any iscsi harddisk (the PC has no HDD).<br><br>Is there any method to check the existance of iscsi disk in winpe?<br><br></td></tr></table><br>
