git://git.etherboot.org/people/meteger/gpxe.git branch tg3 is what you want.

git remote add meteger git://git.etherboot.org/people/meteger/gpxe.git
git checkout -b meteger-tg3 remotes/meteger/tg3

This should get you more consistent results.
