[gPXE] trouble with zotac zbox id11 w/ realtek gige

i've got this little box that I'd like to run gpxe on and boot iscsi.
It is a zotac zbox id11 with a realtek gig-e controller and an AMI
bios.

I've build the undionly.kpxe from version 1.1 and 1.0 and both have
the same result.  When it begins to boot it gets to "initialising
device" and then hangs.  At that point only a power cycle will bring
it back.  I did wade through the config, but did not see anything
obvious aside from removing many of the features.

I did try using gpxelinux.0 from syslinux-4.03 and it did make it
past that point.  Not sure if I can use that though to boot this 
machine as a diskless client.

(My first time using gpxe ....)
