[gPXE] Fedora 13 iscsi boot issue

Anyone know what the trick to getting F13 to boot from iscsi is?
I can get the install to complete (I do make sure to add iscsi tools)
but once it starts to boot, it errors out with:

iscsistart: can not connect to iSCSI daemon (111)!
iscsistart: initiator reported error (18 - could not communicate to iscsid)

Looking at bugzilla, it appears there once was an issue with network
manager but that's was resolved in F11?

This is on an esx vm with the intel nic and a rom-o-matic rom as per the
wiki. The same procedure works for RHEL 5?
