Try this:

$ git clone git://git.etherboot.org/scm/gpxe.git
$ cd gpxe/
$ git remote add peper git://gitorious.org/gpxe-peper/gpxe-peper.git
$ git fetch peper
$ git checkout base64
$ cd src
$ make

Use one of bin/gpxe.* as usual and see whether it works.
