Hi,

Yes, I am successfully booting Windows 7. At the boot time, one
machine consumes nearly 70 mbit bandwidth. So, if you boot a single
machine over a 100 mbps LAN, there is no speed loss. You can boot with
the same amount of time compared to a local installation.

You should make a fresh iSCSI installation. Follow the "Alternative
Method (using WinPE)" section of the
http://etherboot.org/wiki/sanboot/win2k8_iscsi_install. You should
also follow the guide http://etherboot.org/wiki/winpe in order to boot
from WinPE. You should also use WinPE 3.0. After booting into WinPE
you should run setup.exe from the Windows 7 installation DVD.

If you have any problems, you can always ask more.
