Hi,
After my problem with directly loading an existing Windows 7 using
iscsi, I decided to try WinPE but I have a question.
At http://etherboot.org/wiki/sanboot/win2k8_iscsi_install it says we
need to issue the following commands to start WinPE:
dhcp net0
set keep-san 1
sanboot iscsi:192.168.1.11::::iqn.2007-08.name.dns.target.my:iscsiboot
chain tftp://192.168.1.11/boot/pxeboot.n12
But I could not understand how does it work. I believe after issuing
"sanboot iscsi:192.168.1.11::::iqn.2007-08.name.dns.target.my:iscsiboot"
command it will try to boot from that device and will not give a
console to write the following command. Am I wrong?
Thanks.
