I have a new dell machine with a broadcom chip (devid 1691),
everytime I boot this machine over PXE, somehow ( I dont know how) the
ethernet switch starts to glitch
and every machine connected to the switch starts to lose packets, about 50%
of the packets.
Probably a physical problem with the chip right? but how to know what is
going on?
tried with 2 different switches , 6 machines like this one
and all of then gives this error, even a new machine, just out of the box.
using the nic inside Windows or linux is very stable and nothing unusual
takes place.
I'm using the undionly version, since gPXE doesnt have the drivers for this
chip.
anyone can help me find a good set of DBG to enable and try to figure out if
it is a hardware problem for sure?
