Your question suggests that anyone (specifically yourself) should be 
able to do any job in the project that they wish to, just because they 
wish to.

If you want the kind of responsibility you seem to want, you will need 
to demonstrate that you have the judgment (technical and contextual) to 
handle the job.

Considering that you joined, been moderated, and left Etherboot Project 
mailing lists repeatedly (sometimes angrily) over the 11 years I have 
been participating, you're going to have to demonstrate on a consistent 
basis that you add value by your participation.
