While I haven't yet gone through the entirety of your code, I did wish to acknowledge your submissions and thank you for them.  I am sure that StarWind iSCSI SAN target users could potentially benefit from this work.

Perhaps you'd be interested in registering with our support.etherboot.org tracking system?  If the issue hasn't already been noted there, you could open up a task and even include references to this work that you've done.
